Through the Word: Someone Pass me a Title!

Week 2: Genesis 36 – Exodus 20; Psalm 1-42; Matthew 22 – Mark 12

Congratulations!  You are officially through week two!  Actually, if you’re keeping pace, you’re two days into week three (but who’s counting, right?). So, how did it go?

Last week, I found it easy to pick one thing to share with you from the week’s reading. This week…well, they say a picture is worth a thousand words:

I don't know if you can really see the page but that “mess” on my reading schedule is all of the little things I had thought about sharing throughout the week!  I’d find myself saying “oh, that is so good!” or “ouch! I need to remember that!” a whole lot!

The book of Psalms seemed to have a lot to say about our speech this week.

LORD, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill? He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart. He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour. (Psa 15:1-3)

Thou hast proved mine heart; thou hast visited me in the night; thou hast tried me, and shalt find nothing; I am purposed that my mouth shall not transgress. (Psa 17:3)

It was a rough week emotionally and the Lord knew that. So, He sent me this verse:

Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart:
wait, I say, on the LORD
(Psa 27:14)

Mark 9:50 reminded me that as Christians, we are the salt of the earth.  I began to think about the purpose of salt.  One thing that salt does is make a person thirsty! I wonder how many people thirst to know God by our “salty” lifestyles?  Lord, make me a salty Christian!

Although not part of our Bible reading this past week, I also jotted down a quote from last Wednesday night’s service.  We had a guest preacher and something he said really stood out to me.

“The love of Christ will change your direction in this life
and your destination in the next.”

Where there is no change of direction, there is no salvation.  Has the Lord change your direction?  your eternal destination? I certainly hope so! He has mine!

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature
old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
(2Co 5:17)

Have a blessed week!  Keep your eyes on Jesus!

Through the Word: God Remembers

Week 1: Genesis 1-35; Job 1-42; Matthew 1-21

Today marks the end of week 1 of our 90 Days Through the Word Challenge.  Thank you for joining me and/or thank you for praying for me!! If you haven't started yet, it's not too late!  You can find last week's entry HERE.

The Bible is an amazing book. It never ceases to amaze me how I can read the same verses for the tenth or hundredth time and have the Lord show me something new out of them!  I'm sure that you can say the same thing.  The Word of God is alive and inexhaustible in its wisdom.  Is it any wonder that the child of God is commanded to study and rightly divide it?

The one thing that stood out to me this week is just what a personal God we serve!  God not only knows each one of us by name, but He remembers us.  I recently started picking out a couple of people each week from our church and learning their names.  With a church of 400+, people coming and going and our own family moving away and coming back, there are a lot of people that I recognize but do not know by name.  It takes an effort to get to know people.  Not so with the Lord!!  He never forgets our names or anything else about us!

Gen 8:1  And God remembered Noah...
Gen 19:29  ...God remembered Abraham...
Gen 30:22  And God remembered Rachel...

And God remembers me!  And God remembers YOU!

What a thrill!  I do not have to bow down to the Lord in prayer and remind Him of who I am and where I'm at.  He knows me!  He thinks of ME!

But I am poor and needy; yet the Lord thinketh upon me:...
(Psa 40:17)

How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them!
(Psa 139:17)

Can you imagine that? The God of Heaven thinks about each one of us and He says that those thoughts are precious!  So the next time you're feeling alone or that nobody cares, remember that God does.

A New Bible Challenge is Here!

Sometimes your pathway
May prove uncertainties lie.
Circumstances seem to tell you
That there's no reason to try.

Chorus
Walk on, walk on for Jesus.
Walk on in His name.
Lifting high the blood-stained banner.
Walk on in His name.

Walk on through the shadows
Where doubts and fears reside
He will crown your faith with victr'y
If on Him you will abide.

If you have taken part in our previous "Through the Bible" challenges, you know what a true blessing they can be!  Going through the entire Bible in 90 short days is certainly not for the faint of heart.  Perhaps you're wondering why I picked this time of year to do so?  Simply put, I need it.  I need to immerse myself in the words of my Savior. I need my focus to be shifted from my present circumstances and on to the One who controls the circumstances.

Truth be told, I do not remember another time in my entire life when I have felt so depressed low discouraged, and if it bothers you to hear me say that, than perhaps it will bother you enough to pray for me and for my family.  It is a time of great change, uncertainty and trust that God knows what He is doing.   I have never felt so completely and utterly out of control of every aspect of my life as I do right now.  And for someone who is a control freak highly organized and scheduled, it is driving me crazy!

The only thing that I know to do is to throw myself at Jesus' feet and seek His face.  So, will you join me in this challenge?  You can print off your 90 days reading schedule HERE .        We'll begin on Monday, October 17, 2011 and will update on our progress weekly.  If you feel that you can't take the challenge right now, would you commit to asking the Lord help me to finish it?

May the Lord bless you as you seek His face.

Through the Bible: Week 3

Don't everyone faint at once. Yes! This weeks recap is happening on time.  That is probably due to the fact that I actually have something I want to share with you.  Before I do, how did your reading this week go? Did you get it all in? Did you learn anything new?  How is the Lord working in your life?  Please share.

I mentioned in my last post that this week has been rough for me and I missed several days.  What I decided to do was to mark those days on my checklist and go back to them another time.  Trying to catch up all at once was a futile venture and exceedingly frustrating.

The verse that stood out to me this week was in Psalm 84:11  For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

There are just some verses in the Bible that bother me because I can't quite wrap my brain around them.  I read that verse and think "Ok, Lord, I've been praying for x,y, & z forever and you haven't answered?" and yet I know His word is true so the problem must be with ME.  As a side note, you'll find life a whole lot easier if you just establish in your heart and your mind that God's Word is always right and if there seems to be a contradiction, the problem is with you (me!), not with the Bible :)

Anyway, I pondered the end of that verse for quite a while...NO good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.  The key word there is "uprightly".  In the 1828, it is defined as:  Honestly; with strict observance of rectitude; as, to live uprightly.

My first thought was to say, "ok, that's what I thought so what am I missing?"  but then I decided to dig a little deeper into the word rectitude.

In morality, rightness of principle or practice; uprightness of mind; exact conformity to truth, or to the rules prescribed for moral conduct, either by divine or human laws. Rectitude of mind is the disposition to act in conformity to any known standard of right, truth or justice; rectitude of conduct is the actual conformity to such standard. Perfect rectitude belongs only to the Supreme Being. The more nearly the rectitude of men approaches to the standard of the divine law, the more exalted and dignified is their character. Want (lack) of rectitude is not only sinful, but debasing.

The very first thing that popped into my mind in reading that definition is the cries of liberals, screaming "legalism! legalism!" when we as Bible-believing Christians strive to follow God's laws for both faith AND practice!  It's no wonder that good things are withheld from us (me), when we pray.  The word "uprightly" goes far beyond what I thought it did; that is just basically living for the Lord.   When you really start digging, it means to conform *exactly* to the rules (laws, commandments) given by our Creator.  Does that mean sinless perfection? Of course not. There is only one sinless One - the precious, holy Lamb of God.

However, there a prevailing mentality in "Christian" circles (term used loosely) that God's ways are great for spiritual matters (salvation, forgiveness, faith, love, eternal security) but are irrelevant to practical living.  The fact is that the Bible is FULL of instruction for our daily living but if a pastor preaches it from the pulpit, he is often accused of legalism.

Do you want to know the difference between holy, Bible living and legalism?  Are you ready, because this is deep.....the heart attitude. That's it.  A person striving to live godly, holy and separate because they love the Lord and want to please Him will be more concerned with their own short comings and less concerned with forcing others to follow in their footsteps.  A legalist preaches to everyone else how they should be living and looks down their noses at those who aren't living up to God's standard.  That's it.  In the end, God's Word is the same and each of us will give an account before Him one day as to how we obeyed His Word.

I read a quote once that said:  "Self-righteousness is being more aware of and irritated by the sins of others than you are conscious of and grieved by your own."  I have certainly walked both sides of that fence, much to my shame, but I can honestly say that the closer I get to the Lord, the less what other people are doing matters.  Why? Because I see myself  for who and what I am and I have enough of me  to work on without worrying about anybody else.

Our Pastor said once that, "You cannot have sin in your lifestyle and expect God in your worship.".  How very true that is!!!  And while we will never be perfect this side of Heaven, we should strive to be as right with God as possible!  Known sin....what about:

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
(Php 4:8)

That one verse alone could keep us busy for the next five years.  The Lord knows our hearts and He knows when in our hearts we are striving to walk uprightly.  Only when we get to the place that the intents of our hearts continuously seek to please God ~ and only when we are striving and putting forth effort to walk uprightly can we claim that verse...no good thing will the Lord withhold.... I don't know about you but there are things in my life that I do not want the Lord to withhold.  The Lord, in His mercy, blesses us every day but just like some things cannot be overcome but by prayer and fasting, there are obviously some things that the Lord withholds from us until we walk uprightly.

It's not about legalism....it's about loving God and keeping His commandments in both faith AND practice.

Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
(Mat 7:13-14)

Through the Bible: Week 2

Tick-tock, tick-tock....is it just me or have those tick-tocks been moving at breakneck speed lately?   Crazy!  A 'week 3' summary should be posted in only two more days and here I am posting week two's!  So, I have a confession:  I am behind....waaayyyyy behind on my reading; days behind even.  I'm afraid to even count how many days.  It seems like every time I sit down to read, something happens.  Whether it is a squabble between the children, a dog that needs to be let out, a phone ringing...it's always something.

As tempting as it would be for me to say that I just haven't had the time I have needed, it simply isn't the truth.  The truth is that I haven't taken the time I've needed.  I haven't chosen to use the time that I have.  I mean, we all have the same 24 hours in a day and it is the choices that we make each and every moment that make the difference.

So, I guess therein lies the point of this weeks recap. Time is valuable.  It cannot be bought, stored or shared - it must be used and used wisely.  Here are some things that *I* could personally do differently to better manage my time.  Maybe some of them will ring true for you or maybe you have your own list.

  1. I could rise earlier....even 15 minutes would allow me to get in a extra chapter or two.
  2. I could stay up later....again, even 15 minutes would make a difference.
  3. I could read instead of text (or type or talk)
  4. I could read my Bible while in the drs. office waiting room or any place else that I need to wait.  I even have a KJV Bible on my phone so there are not any excuses for me!
There are so many moments that I could reclaim for the Lord instead of wasting away on things that are truly not important. While I'm not thrilled that I'm behind, it certainly has provided some enlightenment.  As for catching up?  I don't know.  I think it will probably be a little here and a little there.
So, tell me.....how are YOU doing?

Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
(Eph 5:16)

Through the Bible: Week 1

Here we are at the end of the first week of our 90 day journey through the Bible.  How did it go?  Did the Lord reveal anything to you that you'd like to share?  Did you get all of your reading in?  Remember, just do you best for God's glory. He will bless your effort!

The devotional I posted two days ago on Lot's wife came from my Bible reading this week. I love when the Lord reveals Himself through His Word.  I am honored when He chooses to show me things that aren't right in my life and just how to correct them in a way that brings HIM glory.  God is not some hard to reach, disconnected figment of the imagination, He is a real and loving Father, who loves His children with a fervent love.

I can already see a difference in my reading time this time vs the last time.  When I read through the Bible at the end of last year, I gained an immense amount of factual information.  It was amazing how reading through the Bible so quickly really knitted the people and the stories together.  There were many moments of "oh wow! Ya, I see how that fits!"  It was fantastic.

This time, I'm finding myself immersed in the goings on of what I'm reading...like I'm there.  For instance, last night I was reading about Jesus, walking on the water and how Peter asked the Lord to bid him to walk on water.  We've probably all read those passages many times over and maybe even envisioned the conversation.  Last night was different.  Have you ever considered them being in a storm?  It says the wind was boisterous.  A storm such as that would be LOUD...I don't believe there was a casual conversation between Jesus and Peter.  Peter was probably leaning over the side of the boat, hands cupped around his mouth, shouting "Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water."  Can you see it?  Winds raging, rain pounding, in the darkness...and Jesus says, "Come."

One little word.  Jesus is still saying it.  "Come" to me in your heart sickness, confusion, grief, despair, uncertainty, bitterness, hurt, anger, sadness.....whatever it is....COME.  Just let go of the boat and go to Jesus.

Will you share what the Lord is doing in your life?   If you leave a comment with your thoughts, I will add them to the bottom of this post so that others can see them too.  Have a blessed week.

Bible Challenge: Week 10

The tenth week of my 90 day Bible Reading Challenge....day 74.  Hard to believe! It has been quite a journey thus far.  I see the Lord changing me....especially in my mind (washing of water by the word...Eph 5:26).  I am more aware of Him in my day to day tasks - of the small ways He comes to my aid and I never noticed.   The Lord is good ~ oh how I love my Savior! And....I'm so glad that....

He knows MY name!

Bible Reading Challenge: Weeks 7-9

I can hardly believe that another three weeks have gone by since I last posted an update.  I wish I could say it's been because I have been busy with other things!  Yes, I have been busy but that is not the reason. The truth is that these last three weeks have been a time of great spiritual oppression.  Weeks 7 & 8, I was bogged down in the book of Jeremiah, understanding very little of what I was reading.  On top of that, the Lord was uncovering things in my life that had long needed addressing. If that weren't enough, the devil sure was fighting!  I felt very much like the prophet Jeremiah in the book of Lamentations when he said "...the comforter that should relieve my soul is far from me;..." (Lam. 1:16)

I am happy to report that eventually the book of Jeremiah did end :)  I have asked my pastor husband to please bring me home a book on the minor prophets so that I can re-read them with more understanding!  Be encouraged! Even when I thought that I was getting absolutely nothing out of a passage, the Lord would reveal some little nugget of truth to me and that would keep me going.  Getting bogged down is going to happen.  Just plow on through!

There's a reason that God's Word is referred to as sharper than a two-edged sword! (Heb 4:12)  I have so often just quoted that verse without really thinking about it. However when the Lord himself begins to do some inspecting of the "thoughts and intents" of MY heart...ouch!  It isn't fun to discover what is lurking in those hidden corners of the heart, covered by dust and time...long forgotten. Facing the truth about myself ~ seeing the inner 'me' through the revelation of the Holy Spirit has certainly made me want to say along with the apostle Paul "Oh wretched man that I am"!

How blessed it is to have a Savior who cares enough about me to tell me the truth, for only then can I turn to Him in repentance and begin to make a change!

As with any godly, Christ-centered endeavor, the devil has fought.  I know for certain he doesn't like the amount of time I am spending bathing in the water of the Word.  By this point, if you have attempted with any degree of seriousness to finish this challenge, the devil has fought you as well. Perhaps you haven't recognized it as oppression from Satan.  Have you found yourself discontent and cranky? Short-tempered with a cause? Overly tired?  Wondering how you could be reading your Bible so much and seemingly it be having the opposite affect of what you were looking for?  Do not be ignorant of the devil's devices.  His goal is to side-track you from what you have purposed in your heart to do.  When you begin to feel this way, turn your eyes back to Jesus and ask Him for strength.

I will leave you this evening with this verse:

It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed,
because his compassions fail not.
They are new every morning: great is they faithfulness.

Lamentations 3:22-23

Bible Reading Challenge: Weeks 4-6

The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.
Psalms 12:6-7
I don't know about you, but I am so thankful that we have the pure word of GodGod could have just left us here on earth to fend for ourselves and to try to figure out the way to salvation on our own but He didn't....because He loves us!

During our Bible time this morning, I was talking to the children about how we cannot possibly obey the commands of the Lord if we do not know what they are. We cannot know what they are unless we spend time in His Word. So simple yet many Christians fail to take the time to read what God has to say!

This is one of the reasons I embarked on this 90 day, through the Bible challenge.  It occurred to me that I could not say for certain that I have ever read EVERY word in the precious Word of God.  One day, I will give an account to the Lord for what is contained in the pages of the Bible, yet I couldn't be confident that I had read them all.  That is shameful to say but even worse would have been to do nothing about it!

If you haven't yet started your journey through the Bible, may I encourage you to do so? What a way to start the new year!  If you hustle, you could make it through by January 1 (yes, you will have to play catch up with about five days but you CAN do it!)  Just commit your way to the Lord and take a step of faith.  I promise, the Lord will help you with this if you'll let Him!

I apologize for not posting the previous two weeks of updates, but we have been on vacation.  Wow, was that a challenge.  I read on the plane, I read in the hotel room....I read in the hotel room bathroom before the family got up! It took a monumental amount of creativity and desire to accomplish but I'm happy to report that I arrived home only 1/2 a day behind in my reading!  Thank you Jesus!

I wish I could tell you that I have had some deep revelation through all of this or that the windows of heaven have opened and miracles have taken place in my life.  I can't.  At times, I've felt like I'm I have been reading, just to read.  There are times when that is needful in order to complete the challenge.  It's ok.  This time through, I am reading to get through in 90 days...that is the challenge!

I can tell you this though, when you read large chunks of the Bible at one time, you understand more (or at least I do). Reading several chapters in the Old Testament that tie in with what I am also reading in the New Testament has been enlightening!    So, even in the fast pace of the reading schedule, I have learned so much more than I normally do in reading a chapter or two a day.  Incredible, isn't it?

In the past 42 days, I have read through the books of Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Deuteronomy, Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Song of Solomon, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John and Acts! It has been such a blessing!

If anyone is still with me, how are things going for you?  I would love to hear!  May God bless you as you seek His face!

Bible Reading Challenge: Week 3

I'm a couple of days late in posting this but I think it'll be ok since it seems that I'm talking to myself anyway! lol  If anyone is still with me, I'd love to hear how this week has gone.

For me, it has been the most challenging by far. I have battled the responsibilities of life as well as the laziness of my flesh!  I missed a day and a half of reading, which left me needing to spend several hours after the family was in bed, catching up.  Some might ask, "why bother?".  The only thing I can tell you is that completing this challenge is extremely important to me.  I feel like it's something that I have to do.

One thing I have learned is that I have to manage my time wisely in order to complete this challenge.  I cannot relax in the evening and watch Dick Van Dyke episodes on dvd  with the family :)  Some days, I simply want to veg at the end of the day but the wise thing to do is to spend that time reading God's Word.  So, has it been easy? No.  Has it been worth it? YES!

God's Word is alive with truth and promises. The more I read, the more the Lord opens my eyes to His truths!  It is so worth the commitment and sacrifice.

Pray for me the next two weeks.  We will be leaving Monday for NC, so I will need to find time to read while staying in a hotel room with the family and visiting with friends.  Maybe this past week was preparation!

Until next week...

Bible Reading Challenge: Week 2

So...how is it going?  If you started with me and have continued on, you should have successfully finished week 2!  Given the amount of reading involved, that is no small challenge.  The Lord will bless it.

As I type this, I am almost 1 full day behind. This weekend was a long one. Saturday, I had to leave my house at 6:30am, drive 2 hours to a doctors appointment and two hours home. When I got home, I had to take my youngest to the ER, thinking she may have appendicitis.  After spending seven hours there, the doctors sent her home, still unsure whether it was or it wasn't her appendix. I did manage to fix supper and then get my reading in before dropping off into a very sound sleep.

Yesterday was interesting as well because littlest one still wasn't better and my sweet husband took his turn bringing her to the ER.  Turns out she has something called mesenteric adenitis, which is a viral infection affecting the lymph nodes in the groin area.  It is the most common diagnosis resulting from a suspected appendicitis attack.  Yesterday was the day I didn't get my reading it.

So, today, as I made the 2 hour trip again to my doctors office, I was thankful to arrive early and read a little in the waiting room.  My goal is to get supper ready and spend the early evening catching up.  What a blessing to have my eldest see that her sisters got their school work done today! Praise the Lord!

So, what has the Lord done this week? Well, I'll tell you, he answered a very specific prayer request that was solely mine. Meaning, I didn't ask anyone else to pray and I didn't tell anyone else.  I prayed and not only did the Lord answer, he used me to bring about the answer.  What an incredible blessing!  It's amazing when you see God answer prayer just for you!  Praise His name!

Sunday, we had an awesome church service, where nine souls trusted Christ as Savior. Did my Bible reading have anything to do with that? No, but I do believe that when our hearts are right and they are in tune with God, we pray more fervently for service and do not quench the Holy Spirit of God.

And I can say also that the Lord spoke to me just today about something that has been on my heart.  I was listening to our Preacher preach a message on cd, as I drove this morning.  He read a verse and it was as if God himself was speaking to me!  I know there are passages in the Bible that we "claim" as our own but this was different.  The Lord most certainly had something to say to me and what a joy to hear His voice! What does that have to do with Bible reading? Everything! A heart that is attuned to Him will be listening for His voice.  A heart that is washing itself daily in the Word will be confessing sin and when we confess our sin, we can have fellowship with the King of Kings!

So, please share with us how your week has gone! I want to hear the bad as well as the good. Remember, Jesus is pleased when we simply do our best, with a heart full of the right motivation.  He knows our trials!  Just keep pressing on in this challenge, to the very best of your ability and leave the rest to Him!

Bible Reading Challenge: Week 1

If you started the 90 Day Bible Reading Challenge with me, you've finished week one. How did you do?

I have to admit, I have found it challenging.  Starting it during our first week back to school probably wasn't the easiest choice. However, it has been so spiritually rewarding as well!!!  I find it absolutely amazing that the very chapters the Lord had set for me to read dealt with specific areas that I was struggling with spiritually. Isn't that just like our Lord?

It's no secret to anyone that knows me,that since the miscarriage in March, I have struggled. So many unanswered questions; learning to trust when nothing makes sense.  Faith....trusting that the Lord knows what is best...struggling with the fear that He may never choose to bless us again....it's been hard.  Yet, if you've been reading the same passages that I have, you know that not only have they dealt with faith but with barrenness and healing as well!  I have been so encouraged by the precious, healing words of the Lord!

God knew just when the right time was for me to begin this challenge. He knew! What an amazing and wonderful God we have!   I cannot begin to explain where I was spiritually prior to starting this.  I mentioned in my original post that I could not afford not to take the time to inundate myself in the Word of God.  This past week has been a blessing and well worth the time it has taken.

I have found that in order to complete my daily reading, I need to spend an hour in the Word first thing in the morning.  I've had to get up earlier so that the time spent can be a quiet time. I am not finished in that hour, probably because I don't want to read just to say that I've read.  When I get to the point in my reading that it feels like a chore, I stop.  Reading the Bible should be a delight!  Whatever chapters I have left, I save for after the children go to bed.  Tonight I have several left because our morning was very rushed. I woke later than normal and you know, that puts the entire day behind.  So, I need to finish up here and get to it!

I would love to hear how your first few days have gone.  Have you learned anything new? What has the Lord shown you?  How has dedicating this time to the Lord made a difference in your life?  Let us know what challenges you've faced and how you've solved them (or ask for help if you haven't!).  Please do share!

The 90 Day Bible Reading Challenge Reading List

For those who could not open the pdf, this is copied in its entirety from this site.  I just realized that this is NOT a KJV site. This should not in any way change the daily schedule since you are using your own Bible but I did want you to be aware. There is another reading plan HERE that goes straight through the Bible and does not break it up into three separate books each day. Some people may prefer this.

You may join the challenge HERE.

90 Day Bible Reading Challenge

I have decided to challenge myself to read the Bible through in 90 days. Would you care to join me? I am sure many will say that they don't have the time.  I am at a place right now where I cannot afford NOT to take the time; I need a special something from the Lord and I believe this is a good place to start.

Maybe you've never read the Bible through.  Maybe you too need a special word from the Lord.  Maybe you'd just like a challenge. Whatever your reason might be, I encourage you to join me.  You can find a printable schedule HERE. (*note, I just realized this is NOT a KJV site.  This will not affect your daily schedule as you are using your own Bible but I wanted you to be aware. There is also an alternate schedule that goes straight through the Bible {vs. a few chapters out of several books a day} HERE. Some may prefer that)

Yes, it is doable!  If you'd like to join in, please add your name to Mr. Linky and comment on occasion. I'd love to know how this challenge is helping you and what the Lord is showing you through it!
