Celebrating my Spiritual Birthday

Ten years ago today the Lord mercifully saved my soul from a devil's hell.  Because HE lives, I can face all my tomorrows, knowing that my future lies with Him.  Please take a minute to read my testimony, located in a tab above.  If you don't know the Lord, I pray that it ministers to your heart.  If you do know Him as Savior, join me in celebrating his blessed resurrection.

I didn't really think she'd do it but she did. I don't think being "proud" of her is the right word but oh how my heart was filled with joy at seeing her sing for the Lord for the very first time!

What We All Need...

I was watching a movie last night when one of the characters said something so simple, yet so profound, that I had to write it down. What was it?

"In the end, what we all really need, is someone to listen."

I do not know why that struck such a chord with me ~ I gasped audibly when I heard it and just had to write it down. It touched me. If you have such a person here on this earth, someone who really listens, someone who you can share your innermost thoughts and dreams with, count yourself blessed. Go and thank that person and then thank your Creator who gave you such a one.

If you don't have anyone, remember that you always have the Lord and he is a friend that sticks closer than a brother.
