Multitude Monday: 31-40

I'm afraid I've been a little remiss in posting the Multitude Monday entries!  I do have good "excuses"!  So, before something else comes up.....

31.  I am thankful for all the little things that come up that prevent my getting on the internet!
32.  Breakfast in bed, brought to me by my 8 yo this morning.
33.  Autumn....in New England...at this very moment, there is no place I'd rather be!
34.  Medication from the doctor for our youngest that allowed us both to get our first full night's sleep in weeks.
35.  GRACE....the loving, merciful, bountiful, undeserving grace of God.  There are not enough words.
36.  Safety in our travels these past two weeks
37.  Warm, fuzzy jammies on a cold morning
38.  Coffee....need I say more?
39.  Friends ~ old and new ~ that God sends into my life for a purpose
40.  A new day - a fresh start - another span of time to make a difference.

Multitude Monday: 21-30

Seems like I missed last Monday's post and am 24 hours behind on this one as well!  There certainly is a lot to be thankful for; as a matter of fact, there is so much that I haven't had time to post! Praise the Lord :)

  1. A little baby, whom the drs. said wouldn't make it to a live birth. They tried to get mama to "terminate" and promised she couldn't survive outside the womb. She was born *alive* and with good chances of survival!  As a matter of fact, several of the things the drs. said were wrong are NOT there!  Praise God for the opportunity to witness and pray for this miracle!
  2. TEN souls saved these past two Sunday services!  TEN souls the devil cannot have!
  3. That God still speaks to His children - I know that for certain as I heard His voice so sweetly speak to me a week ago today.  He gave peace and assurance about a very specific prayer request.
  4. I am so thankful that God really cares about the concerns of His children!
  5. The rain falling outside - I love the rain!
  6. Fall has arrived in New England.  This is my favorite time of year - apples, cooler temps, the smell of wood stoves and pine. Mmmmm
  7. That my two youngest children are finally feeling better!  They have had some GI issues, not related to any type of virus, for quite a while.  I'm seeing light at the end of the tunnel!
  8. For God's provision. He has promised to supply our need even though we will no longer have health insurance at the end of this month.  God is quite capable of taking care of us!
  9. A sweet friend that has a servants heart. She took my three children (willingly and with a smile) this past week because there was a need....even though she has six of her own. Love you D :)
  10. That my puppy is feeling better. May seem silly but a week ago, we didn't think he would live through the night.  The Lord knew we couldn't afford a vet and healed him...just for me....because He loves me.  Ain't God good?!?

Multitude Monday 11-20

I know...it's not Monday, but better late than never, right?

11.  Today is the last day of August....for that I am thankful :)  It means fall is right around the corner!

12.  God's grace that is sufficient to meet the needs of each and every day.

13.  A friend who loves me enough to tell me what I need to hear....even if I don't want to hear it!

14.  An absolutely wonderful day with my girls - such sweet fellowship!

15.  The peace of God is such a gift. To know ~ really KNOW ~ the peace that only Jesus can give!

16.  School work that has been done completely without fussing and drama!

17.  Ice cream :)  Need I say more?

18.  The joy that comes from hearing 2g8 singing hymns while doing her chores!

19.  1g12's heart for the lost and desire to witness.

20.  The way 3g8 makes me laugh.

Multitude Monday

holy experience

I cannot tell you what a blessing it was to me to come across the idea of "Multitude Monday" at Holy Experience. For several weeks now, the Lord has been speaking to my heart on the subject of gratefulness.  It is so very easy to focus on the negative - the things I don't have, the frustrations in my life or those little frustrations that I seem to encounter each day.  The truth is, if I'd simply stop and look around, I have so very much to be thankful for!

God has been so very good to me! I want to begin my personal journey to chronically one thousand gifts, beginning now.

  1. I am so very thankful for salvation by grace.  I could never have earned God's free gift to me but I am full of gratitude for it.
  2. My husband, who has been a faithful provider and caretaker throughout our 18 years of marriage.
  3. Our three daughters...each of whom are a miracle from God.  The doctors didn't predict we'd ever have children.
  4.  My health.  It's amazing how easily it is to take for granted!
  5. Cool evenings...fall is in the air.  My favorite time of year!
  6. Friends.  What a blessing to have like-minded friends to talk to!
  7. Fresh produce, straight from our garden.
  8. My eldest daughter who told me today that she was thankful that she had a fun mom :)
  9. A warm home to shelter us from the cold, wind, rain and snow!
  10. Homeschooling: I am so very, very thankful for the privilege to homeschool my children.  There is no amount of money that could buy the moments we have together.  I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world!
